Voice
Election results carry the voice of voters. SCALP starts from vote totals, vote share, and participation.
Project purpose
SCALP is a public lens for reading Malaysian election data. It turns party and coalition results into a market-style dashboard so people can compare votes, seats, activity, and campaign efficiency more easily.
Election results carry the voice of voters. SCALP starts from vote totals, vote share, and participation.
Each party has a story across elections: growth, decline, alliances, missed contests, and comeback signals.
The dashboard compares votes, seats, win rates, and estimated campaign ROI instead of showing isolated numbers.
SCALP uses ElectionData.MY through a private API proxy so the browser can explore public dashboard views without exposing the API key. The app focuses on party and coalition performance across Malaysian election records, including votes, seats contested, seats won, latest GE activity, and long-term trend windows.
Because Malaysian party names, coalitions, and aliases change over time, SCALP treats the dashboard as an analytical guide. Always check party mappings and election scope before drawing conclusions.
