What the ROI view means
This is an analytical model, not an official campaign finance audit. SCALP multiplies contested seats by the spend assumption you enter, then compares that estimate with votes and seats won.
- Cost per vote is estimated spend divided by total votes.
- Cost per won seat is estimated spend divided by seats won.
- Seats won per RM1 million helps compare parties that contested different numbers of seats.
- Parties with zero won seats have no cost per won seat because there is no winning seat to divide by.
